Broadway Plan, a land use coverage plan, at council Could 18 — BC Alliance for Arts + Tradition

The Metropolis will probably be bringing the Broadway Plan for Council’s consideration on Could 18th. Developed over three years of intensive neighborhood and stakeholder engagement, the Broadway Plan is a complete land use coverage plan that may information development and constructive change within the Broadway neighbourhoods over 30 years. It features a Public Advantages Technique to direct Metropolis funding in public facilities and infrastructure to assist a livable, wholesome and sustainable neighborhood.

The Plan consists of insurance policies to assist a thriving cultural sector that contributes to the town’s financial system and drives tourism and job creation. Key Arts and Tradition Instructions (Chapter 17 of the Broadway Plan):
